I leave for Germany a week from this Tuesday. I won't arrive until Wednesday morning. I am so excited. Today I talked to my tutor from Erfurt. I am visiting Beloit this weekend to say goodbye to all of my friends. I will miss them all and since some of them are seniors I won't see them again for a long time.
Next week I plan to exchange my money for Euros and get travelers' checks. I also need to go shopping for some things I need to take with me. It's very important that I take peanut butter because I guess it is very difficult to get it in Germany. I will also spend a lot of next week packing.
I am so excited about going to Germany. I plan to meet another Beloit student at the airport and we will take the train together. Then we will meet our tutor and go to campus with her. Luckily I am arriving a few days before the program starts so I can settle in. I can't wait to go, but I will miss all of my Beloit friends.
